- Sou filósofo e sempre procurei caminhos para ampliar as possibilidades de diálogo.Quando trabalhava no ensino médio tentei fazer isso por meio da "canção". Como sempre gostei muito e rock nacional, meus alunos se acostumaram a ver o professor chegar para dar aula carregando um aparelho de som. O risco desta indisciplina me obrigou a aprofundar minhas análises para justificar aquelas canções como caminho para o pensamento. O resultado mais forte deste esforço é o livro Canção, estética e política: ensaios legionários (Mercado de letras, 2012)em que falo sobre como a Legião Urbana traduziu seu tempo em canção.Atualmente dou aulas de filosofia na UNIRIO e curso doutorado na UFRJ. Sou de natural de Jataí no estado de Goiás e foi por lá que há mais de dez anos comecei a lecionar.
